Tec Deep Instructor

Tec Deep Instructors can offer dive training programs that are outside the traditional limits of recreational diving. These programs include the Discover Tec experience and the Tec Diver Level One and Tec Deep Diver courses.

Prerequisites

1. PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer.

2. PADI Enriched Air Diver Specialty Instructor.

3. PADI Deep Diver Specialty Instructor.

4. PADI Tec Deep Diver (or qualifying certification)

5. 270 logged dives – at least 25 stage decompression dives deeper than 40 metres/130 feet.

6. Certified at least 10 PADI Deep Divers and/or PADI Enriched Air Divers.

7. Assisted with two PADI Tec Deep Diver courses.

8. Successfully completed the Tec Deep Instructor Standards, and Theory and Practical Application exams within 12 months of application.

9. Met the Peer Review Waterskill requirements listed on the PADI Tec Deep Instructor Application as verified by a PADI Tec Deep Instructor or PADI Instructor with another qualifying rating.
